Geometry file: public/models/muscular.glb. The skeletal.glb file was used only to align corresponding skull landmarks; its geometry is not redistributed in this supplement.

Adapted facial assets, their supplemental catalogue entries and transformed geometry are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International:

These are a selected muscle-only derivative. No kidney, inner-ear, cranial-nerve, brain or source definition-text assets from this export are included. The repository's component licence distinguishes these muscles from its non-commercial kidney/inner-ear components. The unmodified upstream model notice accompanies this file as FACE-MODEL-UPSTREAM-NOTICE.txt; its list of other models describes the complete upstream collection.

Adaptations: Draco decoded; node hierarchy and mirrored transforms baked with corrected triangle winding; primitive geometry merged per named part; one positive uniform scale and translation fitted to bounds of 12 original BodyParts3D skull bones; female copies passed through the existing donor scale/translation and shared contour; normals quantized to signed 16-bit; indices packed as unsigned 32-bit; compressed offline chunks generated. No per-muscle warping, new eye meshes or duplicate platysma are added. Display labels correct the source spelling Bucinator to Buccinator; original source names are retained in sourcePartId.

Reproducibility and exact per-part provenance: models/facial-muscles-report.json, scripts/add-facial-muscles.mjs and scripts/read-draco-glb.mjs in the project source. Added files: models/face-male-0.bin(.gz), models/face-female-0.bin(.gz), and faceSupplement entries in the two supplemented catalogues. The original BodyParts3D and HRA datasets retain their existing attribution and licences.

This is an approximate mixed-source educational assembly, not a clinically validated patient model. The landmark residual measures the fit between these source skull bounds; it is not a measure of anatomical accuracy.
# Previous presentation contour — superseded by Android test3

The left/right frontalis, temporalis and temporoparietalis muscles now receive a smooth lateral narrowing above the brow region, reaching 8% at the upper forehead. Lower attachments, height, depth and triangle topology are preserved; normals are transformed with the inverse transpose. This display adjustment applies before the female alignment and remains an adaptation under CC BY-SA 4.0. See models/facial-muscles-report.json and scripts/forehead-contour.mjs for parameters. Earlier descriptions of a uniform fit alone describe the initial import, before this contour was added.

## Android test3: common upper-head contour

The independent 8% narrowing described above has been removed from the active facial chunks. Their import again uses the one uniform skull alignment. At display time, all tissues crossing the upper-head region use one shared smooth contour (up to 10% width and 6% depth reduction), including the skull, brain, scalp muscles, vessels and skin. This retains the requested smaller skull shape without independently shrinking its enclosure. Heights, below-brow points and triangle connectivity are preserved; normals and picking bounds follow the displayed geometry. The facial adaptations remain CC BY-SA 4.0. See UPPER-SKULL-ADJUSTMENT.th.md and app/upper-skull.ts in the project source. This display change is not a clinical anatomical validation.
