Model credits and rights

SomaLens Anatomy uses anatomical data from several sources, together with additional educational models. Some positions, shapes, colours, and displays have been adapted for learning. Credits and details of these changes are provided in the app and in the original documents included with this website.

Brain model on this website

The brain structures come from BodyParts3D, following the brain selection in SomaLens. See the original attribution in ATTRIBUTION.md. Original shapes and relative positions are retained, with colours and scale adjusted for the website. Display data is available in brain.json and brain.bin Rotation changes the viewing angle; it does not simulate brain function.

Split-body illustration

This illustration uses an actual SomaLens model. Soft tissues are shown only on the left side of the image, with the full skeleton retained to compare anatomical layers. Source data and credits are listed in ATTRIBUTION.md and FACE-MODEL-CREDITS.md. The composition was arranged to introduce the app.

Rotatable upper-body model

This model is adapted from the datasets listed in ATTRIBUTION.md and FACE-MODEL-CREDITS.md. It has been simplified for the web, cropped at the waist, and displays soft tissues only on its left side while retaining bones on both sides. The combined file, which includes facial content from Z-Anatomy, is distributed under CC BY-SA 4.0 Display data: upper-body.json and upper-body.bin This display does not simulate physiological function.
